We are delighted that Oban Pride is back for 2023.
​
Our Volunteer Committee has been working hard behind the scenes working on our 2023 Pride Festival Programme, as well as raising the funds to run Oban Pride and continuing with our regular work.

OPENING NIGHT CEILIDH
Friday 1st September
In 2022 who held a Ceilidh in partnership with Leap Sports for the opening night of our Annual Pride Festival.
​
Our Opening Night Ceilidh will take place at the Corran Halls, doors will open at 7:30pm and the dancing will begin at 8pm.
​
All dances will be walked through and called, so don't worry if you don't know them, you will be the end of the night.
​

PRIDE MARCH
Saturday 2nd September
​
Our 2023 Pride March will be congregating at Oban's Station Square from 11:45 ready to depart at 12:30.
Our Pride March will lead us along part of George Street before going along Corran Esplande and arriving at The Corran Halls, our Venue for the Day.
​
Our Pride March provides a chance for LGBTQ+ people, their allies, families and friends to come together and their voices heard on issues that matter to them.
Our Pride March also provides an opportunity to remember how and why the modern day Pride movement started in 1969 with the Stonewall Riots, As well as remember our LGBTQ+ siblings who are no longer with us.
After our Pride March there will be a range of activities happening within the Corran Halls, Oban.

This Family Friendly Free Pride afternoon includes Community Stall Village, Youth Zone, Family Zone and Rainbow Stage.

COMMUNITY STALL VILLAGE

The Corran Halls

Our Community Stall Village will be held within the Corran Halls and brings a whole host of different Charities, Organisations, Crafter and Artists together to celebrate Pride together.
​
The Charities, Organisations, Crafters and Artists within our Community Stall Village, all either support or are part of the LGBTQ+ community.
​
We are delighted to confirm that Waverley Care, Equality Network, LGBT Youth Scotland, TIE campaign and more will be attending our Community Stall Village
​

FAMILY & YOUTH ZONES
Saturday 2nd September
The Corran Halls
From 1pm

Two Fabulous Zones within the Corran Halls with Activities to get the whole Family Involved with Pride.
​
In our Family Zone you will find a range of activities and crafts to help keep children entertained. You will also find a range of LGBTQ+ positive books that you can sit and read with your children.
​
Our Youth Zone will have a range of activities for High School aged people to get involved with and enjoy. This will include a range of LGBTQ+ positive books for young people to be able to chill out with.
Our Youth Zone is supported by Oban Youth Café.
RAINBOW STAGE
Saturday 2nd September
The Corran Halls
From 1pm

Our Rainbow Stage will be live from 1pm with a fabulous range of performers and keynote speakers.
​
Our Rainbow Stage will be hosted by Plastiq, with a personal appearance by Kelly Wilde and performances by Crystal, Michael T Ogilvie, Mamma G, Dorian T Fisk and Spotlight Musical Theatre Group.

KARAOKE KLUB

Join Crystal as they host our official after party our Karaoke Klub.
Crystal will be taking names and will give you the chance to be the star of Oban Pride 2023 at our Karaoke Klub: Official After Party.
There will also be some amazing tunes to dance to and some games along the way as well.
Our Karaoke Klub is over 18's only and is free to attend.

PRIDE BRUNCH

Join the Oban Pride Team for our closing event of Oban Pride Festival 2023.
Our closing Pride Brunch will be held at Markie Dans on Sunday 3rd September from 12pm.
​
We will have some fabulous entertainment, as we have our Brunch together.
​
Tickets £12 per person
We will take a pre-order for your choice of Brunch at time of booking.
